Candy Lovers are in Their Element at Scotrun Store

Scotrun, PA – It’s a quaint cottage on a bustling Route 611 in Scotrun, but time stops for those who enter.

Candy lovers break away from their hectic routines to experience taffies, jelly beans, gummy bears, chocolate pretzels, hard and soft candies in a variety of flavors and colors. The store has been open for business for about five months under new ownership and sells a wide variety of candies and candied fruits.

“More than the kids, it’s the adults who get excited on seeing all these candies,” said Susan Higgins, who along with her daughter-in-law Justine Kolinsky, operate the family owned business at 2527 Route 611.
