Old Fashioned Candy Store Is Big Business On Dickerson Pike

Nashville, TN – A local business is breathing new life into a Nashville neighborhood long plagued with crime and in this case, its success couldn’t be sweeter.

Residents have been showing their support for Music City Candy on Dickerson Pike and on Friday even more support came in the form of a shopping flash mob. Several dozen people packed into the store, to spend money, buy lots of candy, and hopefully, keep those doors open for good.

Beyond the buzz of traffic, barbed wire and vacant buildings on Dickerson Pike something sweet is setting up shop in one of Nashville’s most crime-ridden neighborhoods.
