One-Stop Shop for Collectables in Mountainhome

Mountainhome, PA – Peggy Fylstra loves visiting little gift shops while on vacation. Thinking that the Mountainhome area could use a place where people could buy a quick gift at a reasonable price, Fylstra opened Village Crafts & Collectables on Route 390 in June.

It helps that Fylstra also loves to shop. Every week she’s on the road visiting trade shows, distributors, estate sales and auctions. Having a gift shop gives Fylstra a place to display and sell her many unique finds.

All the furniture in the shop — including curios, cabinets and end tables — have tags on them and are priced to sell.

Jewelry — necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pins — can be found at reasonable prices, too.
