Kreekside: a Taste of Country in Farmington

Farmington, NY – Frances Elliott fulfilled a lifelong dream when she opened Kreekside Country & Primitive Store in Farmington. Up and running since mid-November 2012, her shop features handmade quilts, embroidered pillows, and rustic handcrafted lamps, shelves and stools created from cedar wood tree limbs and stumps.

Deciding on a theme for her new business was literally a no-brainer.

I’m a country person,” said Elliott. “My father was a farmer and it’s just in my blood — I have a knack for it.”
