Holiday Sales a Gift for Arlington Shops

Arlington, MA – Considering the growing popularity of online shopping, Arlington small business owners said they fared pretty well this holiday gift-buying season.
Jim Donvan, owner of Firefly Moon in Arlington Heights, said this year was the best holiday season he and co-owner Susan Thompson have had in their three years in business.
“We really had a good sense that people wanted to do local and avoid the mall,” Donvan said. “This is our third Christmas and each year it gets better.”
