Mooseberry Makes Delicious Soaps and Lotions

Penfield, NY – In 2009, Mary Bartolotta started her business of boiling up sweet-smelling soaps in her Finger Lakes log-cabin kitchen.
She first sold her Mooseberry organic soaps at local farm markets and online at Etsy, but within a year she had secured a warehouse in Penfield and remodeled it into small rooms to hold the soap-making operation, a gift shop and a cozy café focused on local ingredients in breakfast and lunch dishes.
That may sound like a straightforward path, but a long trail of foam preceded Mooseberry Soap Co. and its current large inventory of soaps, creams and lotions.
