Chic Boutique Adds Balance to Downtown Southington

Southington, CT – A formerly vacant storefront at 35 Center St. displays clothing, jewelry, scarves and more after Chic Boutique opened its doors in February.
For owner Dottie Perry, a Meriden resident, it is her first shop. She worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb in Wallingford for 20 years before losing her job three years ago.
Perry said she loved selling jewelry for a friend’s company and has always had a passion for shopping.
