Brilliant Sky Toys & Books Acquires Long Time Atlanta Toy Retailer Bean Head Toys

After 7 years of business, Chris Lowe, proprietor of beloved toy store Bean Head Toys will be turning over the keys to regional toy store chain Brilliant Sky Toys & Books. Originally started in Sandy Springs, GA with a second store popping up in Buckhead several years later, Bean Head Toys was built on a desire to provide educational toys in a fun, mind-developing atmosphere for kids. The stores quickly became community favorites due to weekly events like Story Times, Art Classes, ‘Elf Magic’ gatherings during the Christmas season and always making a point that fun was present in the store every day of the week.

With the addition of the two Atlanta stores and ambitious plans for future growth, Brilliant Sky Toys & Books has grown to 17 stores located across the country offering more than 10,000 high-quality specialty toy products. No stranger to in-store fun, Brilliant Sky Toys & Books has built its reputation on similar in-store events and other unique and personable features. Rather than sales staff, Brilliant Sky employs personal Play Consultants to makes sure customers feel at home and ready to play. From the moment you walk in it’s the goal of the Play Consultants to delight the customer, from free gift-wrapping to getting the toy out of the box, onto the floor and demonstrating its play value.

Bean Head customers should know that all earned customer rewards will be honored. The Buckhead store will continue on without missing a beat, and the Sandy Springs store will close to go under remodel starting Monday, July 28th with a Grand Opening on Sept. 6th.
