Fear’s Confections in Lakewood Molds Chocolates into Dr. Who, Star Wars Themes

Lakewood, OH – Glance inside Fear’s Confections, and you’ll see more than traditional round and square chocolates. Owner Cassandra Fear, a former fiber optic network engineer, sells gourmet chocolates shaped like science fiction characters.
“I lovingly call everything on the top shelf my geek line,” Fear said at her newly-opened Madison Avenue shop. “I’ve got Space Invaders, Dr. Who, Star Wars, Dungeons and Dragons, and chess.”
The candies include molds of Han Solo and the Death Star from the “Star Wars” movies, and the Tardis, a craft that travels through time and space in “Dr. Who.”
