Building 3 at AmericasMart is always a bustling building, full of amazing temporaries and cash & carry rooms.

Last week in Atlanta, it was bustling inside the three buildings that make up AmericasMart. The July 2017 show proved to be the essential buying opportunity it claims. Exhibitors were busy showcasing new products and long-standing favorites. “This July market is an incredible opportunity to see the AmericasMart Atlanta gift collection at its very best,” said Mary Sullivan, senior vice president of leasing in a pre-show release. Appelman Schauben added a space on the 11th floor to its already-booming 20,000-square-foot space on the 18th floor, both in Building 2 of AmericasMart. “This represents the biggest single expansion both in size and additional lines we’ve ever had,” said Peter Schauben when the expansion was announced in May. “We expect to grow even more between now and the January 2018 market.” In the building 3 atrium, the AmericasMart LIVE mainstage played host to the nexus of business information and trend insights. It was also the backdrop for incredible speakers and interviews from the likes of Nate Berkus, Erik Qualman and fashion icon, Sarah Jessica Parker. Parker spoke of her lifestyle brand that speaks to her fashion sense and Carrie Bradshaw-steadfast fans. With the imprint she is making in the luxury retail category with SJP, Parker discussed her journey from beloved style icon to brand creator.
