First event of summer taking place in June at Dallas Market Center
Dallas Market Center is preparing for record-setting attendance ahead of the summer edition of Total Home & Gift Market, June 23-29, 2021. New buyer applications are up by 50% in anticipation of first market of the summer. Across the marketplace, new destinations for discovery include dozens of new showrooms, expanded Temps, new pop-up exhibitions, online platform options, a limited number of special events, and inspiring displays all supporting retail decision makers.
“This summer we are proudly first on the calendar and the first opportunity for buyers to review new products and place orders from manufacturers working hard to meet supply chain challenges,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “We are expecting record attendance as more buyers choose Dallas as their exclusive market destination and as more brands join the most active marketplace in the U.S. Hope is high. Confidence is back. And Dallas will continue to be the center of inspiration and big business in June.”
Pre-registration, which is the exclusive method to receive the FastPass for contactless entry, is now available at dallasmarketcenter.com.
Record Number of New Buyer Applications and Registration
New buyer applications and registration is up more than 50% over previous years, with the strongest gains coming from businesses located outside of the market center’s immediate geographic region. To support new buyers arriving for the summer shows, the market center is enhancing its pre-market communication and education for new buyers via digital tools and a dedicated team of retail ambassadors. During the show, new buyers will be welcomed to market with special tours, a welcome desk, and a buyers’ lounge. New buyers are encouraged to review market announcements, the website and to download the app for pre-market planning.
