Formal Markets to host Mon Cheri Academy webinars through July

Formal Markets continues its year-long educational series with Mon Cheri Academy, which include virtual, monthly sessions through July. The sessions lead up to the in-person Mon Cheri Academy at Formal Markets in Las Vegas, on Aug. 10, 2024. “ANDMORE’s exclusive partnership with Mon Cheri Academy across our Formal Markets has introduced necessary and relevant industry education to retailers of all sizes and levels of experience,” said Caron Stover, senior vice president of apparel at ANDMORE. The next three monthly 60-minute webinars address formal growth categories as well as business operations and opportunities. Topics, presenters and dates include:

• “The Value of Carrying QUINCEANERA to Dramatically Boost Volume,” with Steve Lang on May 13 at 1 p.m. Eastern;
• “How to Leverage Yourself Through Your Employees,” with Steve Lang and Nayri Kalayjian on June 17 at 1 p.m. Easten; and
• “Today’s Bride, Prom Goer, Mother of the Bride/Groom, Social Occasion and Quinceanera Customer by the Numbers and Interpretation of Impact on Your Sales and Profits,” with Steve Lang and Nayri Kalayjian on July 22 at 1 p.m. Eastern.

At-Market Programming in Las Vegas

A second, in-person session will be held on Aug. 10, prior to Formal Markets Las Vegas on Aug. 11 – 13 at the Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas. “The April in-person Mon Cheri Academy was highly attended with retailers who are focused on expanding their knowledge and growing their businesses,” said Steve Lang, CEO of Mon Cheri Bridals. “Mon Cheri Academy’s virtual sessions are a great start for retailers, but to get the full impact of these educational sessions, they must come in-person to Las Vegas in August to immerse themselves in the market landscape and learn how to apply all of their virtual learnings before starting their buying.” Registration for the August at-market session is available at atlanta-apparel.com/MCA.
