In celebration of the company’s 40th anniversary, burton + BURTON will once again invite customers and vendors to Athens, Georgia, for Ballooniversity. This educational and networking experience, held on August 10–13, features opportunities to learn from leaders in the balloon, floral, and gift industries. 2022 marks the 26th Ballooniversity in the company’s history. Attendees enjoy four days of hands-on and classroom sessions to expand their professional knowledge. The balloon décor they create during these sessions is displayed at the grand gala that closes each Ballooniversity. In 2022, these breathtaking designs will be open for public viewing as part of the first-ever Balloon Showcase, held on the Sunday after the gala. The theme for this year’s Ballooniversity is The Future Is Ours, a celebration of space and exploration. Balloon enthusiasts from around the world will gather to create out-of-this-world balloon art including planets, rocket ships, and aliens.

The Balloon Showcase

On Sunday, August 14, following Ballooniversity, burton + BURTON invites the public to view over 100,000 balloons in the Grand Hall of The Classic Center. This Balloon Showcase will also include live entertainers that children of all ages will love. Admission to the Balloon Showcase is free. Donations are appreciated and will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Athens and Extra Special People (ESP). burton + BURTON will make a charitable contribution to both organizations and deliver balloon art to their local headquarters. 100% of all donations will go directly to these charities.
