Thinking of You Week 2022 focuses on back to school and educators
Thinking of You Week, Sep. 19-25, 2022, celebrates the joy of sending and receiving hand-written greeting cards.
Thinking of You Week, sponsored by the non-profit Greeting Card Association (GCA), is Sep. 19-25, 2022 and is the international movement to celebrate the joy of sending and receiving hand-written notes and greeting cards.
This year, the focus of the 2022 Thinking of You Week is Back to School and the hard-working teachers in education. Is there a teacher, past or present, who has affected your life in a positive way? Head to your local card shop to pick out a card, write a note, and drop it in the mail to let them know the impact they’ve made. It can also be a fun activity for parents and their children to give handwritten cards to their teachers letting them know they are valued. Help create a wave of happiness across the globe by mailing a card and letting teachers know that we’re “Thinking of You.”
“Teachers have a tremendous impact on their students, and also on the future, as they are educating the generation to come.” Nora Weiser, executive director for GCA, said. “A card may seem a small gesture, but its impact is outsized – just like a teacher’s. A greeting card with a hand-written note of thanks or support can remind a teacher that their hard work is valued and appreciated.”
