Each February, the global design and retail community convenes in Frankfurt for one of the industry’s most influential markets: Ambiente.

From Feb. 6-10, the fair — hosted by Messe Frankfurt and co-located with Christmasworld and Creativeworld — once again offered a sweeping look at how we’ll live, gather and entertain in the year ahead. Featuring a range of products across dining, living, gift and home, Ambiente reflects worldwide trends, from sustainability initiatives and digital expansion to evolving lifestyle aesthetics.

For tabletop in particular, wholesalers unveiled everything from artful place settings and sculptural serveware to tactile glassware and statement vases. Across styles and aesthetics, one thing was clear: The table continues to tell a story.

Sustainability and craftsmanship continue to shape the industry — reinforcing that it is not merely a customer preference when shopping, but an expectation. Recycled materials, transparent sourcing and handsculpted silhouettes were paired with fresh color palettes, whimsical motifs and innovative finishes.

Ahead, we’re highlighting our Editor’s Picks from Ambiente 2026 — standout place settings, dishware, serveware, glassware and vases that captured our attention on the show floor.
