Aesthetic of the Line?

Posterity Paper isn’t your grandmother’s stationery. This line of colorful, hand-lettered greeting cards effortlessly mixes nostalgic and modern illustrations with thoughtful and witty sentiments.

Personal Favorite?

Happy Birthday Cutie. The hand lettering of the thoughtful — yet colloquial — greeting, along with the illustration of a brown hand and scrumptious orange brings me so much joy.

Surprise Hit?

I was talking to a friend about the popularity of my Thanks for Holding Me Down bobby pin card. I started joking about the puns I could create using other beauty products. When I stopped laughing, I wrote down the ideas and ended up creating a thank-you series. This set was an “Etsy Pick” by the Etsy Style & Trend Editors and also featured on Katie Couric’s website.

Favorite Color?

I’ve often said I didn’t have a favorite color, but the perfect shade of teal always stops me in my tracks.

Current Design Obsession?

My children are my favorite designers and inspire my work. I love the simplicity and emotion of my son Caleb’s drawings, the texture of my daughter Chloe’ fiber art and my youngest daughter Phoebe’s quick wit and well- crafted comebacks!

Favorite Flower?

At the risk of sounding trite, I must say peonies. They look like perfect little lollipops, then bloom into layers and layers of awesomeness.

Favorite Indulgence?

Jeni’s ice cream (Brambleberry Crisp) + the latest episode of Call the Midwife. Posterity Paper logo For more information, visit www.posteritypaper.com.
