The January Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market will break records for the number of exhibiting companies, including new exhibitors across the marketplace and the debut of THE GOODS by Brand Assembly, according to Dallas Market Center.
The market takes place Jan. 10-13, 2023 with an expanded marketplace featuring additional brands and trending new collections on multiple floors. The show grew by 20% in 2022, the organization said.
The number of buyers attending trade events in Dallas has also grown. The total attendance by retailers at all five apparel, accessories and footwear trade events in 2022 was up almost 20%, and the number of buyers attending for the first time was up more than 40% compared to 2019, pre-pandemic numbers. Attendance from key territories was also up for the year: the Southeast increased 86%, the Upper Midwest increased 91%, and the West increased 104% compared to 2019.
“There is remarkable momentum in Dallas, where more retailers are choosing to do business,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “They want a single, convenient marketplace to find everything they need. That’s why we have expanded our marketplace to prepare for retailers from across the U.S. and internationally. We’re looking forward to January and welcoming loyal and new buyers as well as major stores eager to see the latest collections.”
Taking place at the same time as the Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market is the WESA International Western and Equipment Market (Jan. 12-15) and the AETA Equestrian Show (Jan. 12-15).
