Davie County Chamber of Commerce Starts Buy-Local Campaign

Mocksville, NC – The Davie County Chamber of Commerce has come up with a program aimed at getting folks to shop locally.
The iShopDavie campaign encourages people to do all their business in Davie County. That includes shopping, dining, gas tank fill-ups, landscaping, banking and doctors visits.
“Overall, it’s to support our local businesses, regardless of size,” said Carolyn McManamy, the chamber’s president. “It’s to educate really the residents of Davie County on the importance of spending their money in the community in which they live, send their kids to school, pay taxes.”
