Murphysboro Mom Turns Successful Blog into Downtown Store

Murphysboro, IL – Stay-at-home-mom Tonya Diehl decided she wanted to do something more with her talent for do-it-yourself projects, and home décor and improvement. Little did she know that what began as a hobby would one day turn into a brick-and-mortar store in downtown Murphysboro.
In 2010, after the birth of her youngest son, she decided to start a blog to share her ideas with the world. She titled her blog “Love of Family and Home.”
The inspiration for Diehl’s blog came from her mother’s aptitude for do-it-yourself projects and from reading other blogs and magazines.
