ORNL Credit Union Launches Small Biz Cash Mob

Fountain City, TN – Though the economy may be showing signs of turning around, there are a number of small businesses still struggling to survive.
Enter ORNL Federal Credit Union.
The not-for-profit financial cooperative is taking a page from Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett’s playbook as it prepares to launch a cash mob program to help small businesses affected by the economy. Cash mobs are events where folks are encouraged to attend a specific location to show their support. Burchett began holding them last year.
