Mother, Daughter Team Bring Business to Town
Chickasha, OK – The Shadee Palm has taken root in Chickasha.
The gift shop is named after the owners, Dee Dee Crawford and Shayla Clemons, who are mother and daughter Chickasha natives.
The pair said one goal of The Shadee Palm is to give the residents of Chickasha more gift and registry options in town rather than going to Oklahoma City.

‘Cash Mob’ To Infuse Dollars Into Cleveland Businesses
Cleveland, TN – Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce members will “Cash Mob” a local small business retail establishment to emphasize the importance of shopping local, 0n Tuesday, Sept. 18.
“The public is invited to join the fun and excitement from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at a site to be announced as we launch this new effort to support local small-business merchants,” said Chamber Executive Vice President Bernadette Douglas.

Denver Merchandise Mart Under New Ownership; Announces $4 Million Multi-Year Renovation Project
The Denver Merchandise Mart, a fixture in the Denver tradeshow, event and wholesale industries for more than 45 years, is now under the ownership and management direction of Woodhaven-Hawthorne. The company has begun a multi-year capital improvement campaign, which will feature renovations and refurbishments to both the interior and exterior of the Denver Mart over the next four years.
A privately owned venture capital company, Woodhaven-Hawthorne has committed to spending $4 million for the refurbishment and renovation of the Denver Mart.

Saplings Opens in “Fabulous” Montclair
Montclair, NJ – Earlier this summer, Patch reported that the home furnishings and gift shop called Saplings was moving from downtown Caldwell to Montclair.
At the time, owner Cindy Blanco said: “Yes yes yes! I am moving to the fabulous Montclair!”
Well, now that move is complete and Saplings is open for business at 74 Church St., right next to Milk Money.
Saplings sells a wide range of furniture bedding, lighting, rugs, home accessories, and gifts. Blanco says Saplings has all anyone would need for that room they’d like to redo or start fresh with!
