Sisters Win a Retail Award Less than Two Years After Opening Their Business

What’s up: Candy Bouquet to Move, Expand in Rapids Mall

Wisconsin Rapids, WI – Life is pretty sweet for Cindy Ziegler these days.

Ziegler, 56, opened Candy Bouquet three years ago. She had been laid off from her job at NewPage a few years before that, and after doing some research, decided making edible bouquets would be something she would enjoy.

“Chocolate, they say, is recession-proof, because it makes people feel better,” Ziegler said in an August 2009 interview with the Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune.
