Savvy Shopper: Bargains, Unique Items At Tin Roof

“It is the thrill of the hunt,” said store manager Brooke Harwood. “People are still looking for a neat treasure or a bargain.”

Harwood said that explains why business at the furniture and consignment store has been good since opening Feb. 1 at 2418 Battleground Ave.

The store is more than 2,000 square feet and has five rooms filled with furniture, artwork and collectibles.

Some of the more unusual items for sale include a pair of zebra-print chairs and a 1930s Asian two-drawer serving table.
