Memorial Day is the traditional kickoff of the summer season.
After a winter with a polar vortex or two, a blizzard or three, and massive ice and snow storms, people throughout the country are ready to kick off their boots and slip on flip-flops. If you’re like me, you’re thinking of the three “B’s” — barbecue, beaches and baseball.
Now, these things may not scream “small business,” but when you think of all of these this summer, remember your local businesses — especially small businesses — first.
