Rapid City, SD – Valentine’s Day not only warms the hearts of lovers, it can heat up the bottom line of small businesses looking for a break from the winter chill.
Restaurants, florists, jewelers, hair-stylists and candy shops are among businesses that see a nice boost in their incomes on the lovers’ holiday.
Michelle Peregrine, owner of Botticelli’s Ristorante in downtown Rapid City, said the holiday comes at an important time for her business, which is always busy on Valentine’s Day.
