York Grad Offers Personal Touch at Boutique

York, ME – Working in a Portsmouth, N.H. boutique gave Mikayla Parsons the idea. And when York’s Beyond the Sea closed in February 2013, opportunity presented itself and she grabbed it.
Parsons purchased the storefront in May 2013 and has been busily gutting and building since, hiring Kittery interior design firm Alice and Bird Interiors to help bring her vision to life. Parsons said she wanted to create a boutique reflecting her own unique style.
“I wanted the chance to bring a more youthful boutique to York,” said Parsons, who opened the store in April.
