The Planet Dog Foundation (PDF) Awards New Grants to Eight Canine Service Organizations
The Planet Dog Foundation (PDF), Planet Dog’s non-profit grant making organization, is proud to announce the recipients of $25,000 in new grants it has awarded to eight canine service organizations. The PDF grants will help fund assistance dog, therapy dog and canine search and rescue programs across the country and support a wide variety of non-profit programs that are helping children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities; injured service members; natural disaster survivors and many more people in need.
Grace Direct to Debut New Showroom at Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market
Grace Direct will unveil its new 4,692-square-foot showroom at the July 2012 Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market. The new showroom will be located in AmericasMart Building 2, 1017/1019.
“Moving to a new showroom was not really on our radar, but when this space became available we could not pass it up,” said Grace Management Group’s President, Bob Caldwell, Jr. “In our old locale show-goers had to navigate the halls to find our space.

Artist Jen Callahan adapts Coastal Art for C & F Enterprises
Home Décor and gift powerhouse C & F Enterprises has licensed Coastal artist Jen Callahan for a new coastal home accessories line to debut at markets this summer.
Callahan’s designs for C & F include a line of four oversized home dec pillows on canvas with high resolution art transfer to maintain the integrity of the artist work. The designs are bright, impressionistic paintings of sea life, with a whimsical nod to color. Great movement in her brushwork adds vibrancy and life to the creatures and moving landscape.

Lower East Side Jewish Historical Group Raises Cash for Gift Shop
Manhattan, NY – What’s a historical tour without a gift shop?
That’s what the Lower East Side Jewish Conservancy is hoping to find out with a bid to raise $5,000 to fund a gift shop kiosk shaped like an old-fashioned pushcart for its visitor center at 400 Grand Street.
Local Shop Owners Filling A Void In Village Of Fenwick
Ocean City, MD – In the last three years, Janilyn Elias and Jeff Fetterman have filled in The Village of Fenwick with a couple of shops that go against the grain of a traditional pet and book store.
Elias and Fetterman, opened Petique in the Village of Fenwick in spring of 2010. At the time, it was named Indulgence until they opened their second shop in the village, The Bookend Café, the following year.
Indulgence offered merchandise for pets and people alike but it evolved into just a pet store, or a boutique for pets, hence the name Petique.
