O’Hara, a Dallas native, held a grand opening of her business, Darlene’s Bath & Body Lounge, last week, welcoming customers to sample her range of skin, body and cosmetic products to heal their weathered faces.

Q: What did you dream of being as a kid?
A: I was really into science and animals when I was little. For a while I was intent on being chemist or astronaut, but I also wanted to own a pet store or be a vet.

A: I like to think I have a great sense of humor and eclectic fashion sense. I try to bring that into the products I choose to carry be it collars with tattoo koi print or fetch toys in the shape of moustaches.

Camden Pushes Local Shopping Message to Assist Small-Business Owners

New Candy Store Satisfies Locals’ Sweet Tooth
Newport, RI – Alan and Cynthia Levenson, owners of the new candy shop Sugar High, located in the Home Depot plaza on West Main Road, have been satisfying sweet tooths for 35 years.
“I used to be young,” joked Mr. Levenson when he reflected how long he has been in the candy business.
He said when he first started a shop that offered tubes of candy, self-service was still a new concept. Although it is common to find in stores today, prepackaged sweets and bars were once the only option.
